Hello and welcome to the Squeak Dreams’ website! My name is Sarah and my story begins with guinea pigs. From the moment I adopted my first pair of piggies, these sweet, unique and fascinating creatures stole my heart. Often overlooked and disregarded as a ‘real companions’, guinea pigs have so much more to offer. If you are a new or existing owner, or thinking about getting guinea pigs for the first time, I want to show you just how rewarding and joyful being a Pigmum or Pigdad can be!
Many of you may know me from YouTube, where as part of the YouTube community I have been amazed to see my channel grow to over 38,000 subscribers! Over the years I have learnt that cage size and indoor housing is vital to really getting to know and bond with your guinea pigs. I have gone from housing piggies in a hutch in the garage, to a garden hutch, to pet shop cages, to C&C cages and finally custom DIY cages. Custom built cages are surprisingly the cheapest and easiest solution of all! What’s more, fleece offers a beautiful and hygienic replacement to traditional bedding materials.
Fleece is why I began designing unique piggie-sized cosy items. Today, my beds, tunnels, laps pads and more are always made from top quality materials and stunning fabrics.
